They do not cater to learning disabilities of any type, including ADHD/anxity (which I have). you have to do a lot of figuring out the path on your own. I like the idea of doing medicine, as it's a path but not hear. I have always excelled in math and science but those subjects are different in middle school than here. It's all about your mental toughness. My best friend is a runner and if you compete in certain sports, you would fit in here (maybe golf, tennis, running) becuase you have to be ready for constant compeition . That said, I love the teachers here. You might not get the best grades but you will learn if you are very math and science minded. I didn't the. hospital work was all that. Just a few days here and there. It's better to find a friend who has a parent and shadow them. You won't find it here because everyone here has parents in medicine and is using it for their own.I have noticed you are either designed to be an MD or not. If it's not your personality, don't do it.

Great school. Ivies love MCVSD schools. Apply for as many leadership positions as you can, get those positions, face adversity, and keep a 96+ GPA and you'll get into an ivy.

The Academy was an eye opening experience and definitely worth the hard work requires to succeed. Although, they do put a lot of unnecessary stress on students especially at the institutions benefit.

Do not send your child to this school unless he or she is an extreme over achiever. The teachers and administrators pay attention to the same kids over and over who get to be head of thisor that. If your child is at all shy, artistic or even just awkard this is not the school for them, they will not...
