New Bedford High School is a good, diverse and all inclusive inner-city high school. The staff are helpful and there is always someone willing to help someone else.

I would love to see the school rebuilt/refurbished. There have been recent efforts to accomplish this, however much is still lacking. The building looks bland from the outside and the inside is not much better overall. There is a general feeling of being run-down and forgotten and it can be hard to take pride in the appearance of the school and be excited to be there. The academics I never had an issue with, in fact I loved them, just the physical side of the school.

My school has lots of experiences for those who want to go to college and for aspiring artists. My school also has D1 sports and we pride ourselves in our sports. We have an annual Thanksgiving pep rally and football game. Students at the school are very proud to be apart of it.

New Bedford High is the school you go to when you can't get into anything else. If you had money, you would go to Bishop Stang. If you had good grades and conduct, you go to New Bedford Voc-Tech. I went to NBHS for my first year and it was terrible. I saw drug deals during school hours, students car...
