The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My school is a very big school to me. I have been here since 6th grade. What I would like to see changed is more support in the music department and also more advocacy for HBCUs and having HBCU tours.

Overall good school and small classes, if I had children I would send them here over public schools. As I was graduating there was talk of the superintendent wanting to eliminate AP classes--it would be a shame if that actually happened.

I attended this school and overall my experience was fine. I attended my school for seven years all the way from 6-12. This school has good teachers and offers many good classes. They have a diverse community and a strong culture. The administration could be better, and the overall process of fixing problems is very slow, however, things get better over time. Overall this school is fine.

Mr. Roy had him caught up and on task with in 3 months. He took his time and staying after school with my son. I will be forev...
