GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers in the school were always very involved, and caring towards student success which is much needed in a learning environment. The administrators weren't as friendly as the teachers, but still seemed interested in student life.

New Prairie High School is a very non diverse school unfortunately, the administration spends a large sum of money on our football team and provides the bare minimum for the arts. I wouldn't recommend attending this school.

New Prairie is a beautiful school, and offers lots of opportunities for extracurricular activities. The school offers a bunch of different career paths, including Building Trades. The main concern for me is that bullying is pushed off and not always taken seriously.

My child is having a great experience at New Prairie. The honors and AP courses are challenging and worthwhile. There are a large number of extracurricular activities to participate in.

I am a recent graduate. My experience at New Prairie was excellent. Student-Athletes are extremely well taken care of, as the entire community is fully invested in the...

In my time at this school I could not have asked for a better experience. The engagement of faculty, students, and community is unmatched. This school is a home away from home. The teachers care and take the extra step. I would never imagine sending my children to any other school.

Rampant bullying and a culture of torment for many students. Ignorance and drama and close mindedness abound. It’s like being in the 50s and early 60s
