The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

The academics were good and the teachers kept order in the classroom fairly well. The teachers were typically very accessible and easy to talk to. The main thing I would have liked to have seen change is for the teachers to enforce rules a little tighter and teach their students how to be more determined and motivated.

I loved Neshannock. Great teachers that cared about students. Great athletics with coaches who cared about not only the players, but the people they would become.

It is a very good school with a great education and experience. I have always lived in Neshannock my whole entire life. The people, culture, and experiences we have here are incredible. Both of my parents are teachers around the Neshannock area. We have a medium income that is very nice. Neshannock School has taught me to be grateful for everything my parents do for me.
The education is good at Neshannock but there is a lot of preparing to be tested. They need a more diverse schedule - maybe trimesters with more classes that aren't year long - the kids get bored. I also believe students should have finals at the end of semesters - I just hope my child knows how to...
I also moved and would like to say that although every school has their bullies not all schools are this aweful. I can verify that there are schools out there where even the worst students wouldn't dream of saying some of the things I have been told, heard other students teachers say to fellow class...
Neshannock School has been the worst experience of my children' s lives. I have seen all kinds of prejudice going on. From what color you are to how much money you have and if you play a sport. The most disturbing is if your child doesn't learn well they are shunned on. They make the child noticeabl...
