GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

New castle school district is pretty good I had many opportunities for various activities. Some of those activities were national honor society, community service, football, and other activities like that.

Overall i had a good experience at my high school. I enjoyed the relationships I've created over the years with many teachers. I feel like if the school board just listened a little more to their surroundings school could benefit more then just what they think is better. Although things could be better it was still enough for me to enjoy my teenage years and still be ready for the next chapter in my life.

I like the extra opportunities that I have had at New Castle High School. I have had the opportunity to participate in many choir concerts out side of the school, I participated in the musicals, bowling, eco team, and National Honor Society. All of these opportunities have helped me grow as a person. Most of the teachers are very engaged with the students and very helpful and caring. The one thing that needs to change is the way the students treat each other.

There really isn't much wrong with the school, except due to lack of funding, a little behind in technology.

I attended New Castle when i was a youth and never had any issues. It's like any other school; trouble will go where trouble follows. When I went there my only complaint would have been the lack of involvement with the teachers/principal and lack of programs. Now, as a mother, that has 2 children th...
