I have been attending New Hampton High School for four years now. As a senior, I have seen many positives and negatives within our school district. Our teachers are incredible, you can tell that the teachers at New Hampton want the best for you, they want to see you grow, and are supportive and communicative. There are a lot of options to help students get involved, New Hampton has clubs ranging from Nerd Club to clubs like Interact or National Honor Society. Students can choose to participate in extracurricular activities, such as sports, band, or more. Overall, our school district highly values success, whether it be in classes or other various activities. I don't think that our school lunches are bad, however, this year the lunch ladies have run out of the main dish on multiple occasions. It is important to ensure that everyone is being fed the correct amount of food. We should err on the side of making more food than less, and if concerned about waste, offer the extras to students.

The majority of teachers are lovely and want you to succeed there and where ever you plan to be. The reason I only gave it four stars is because the variety of education is not good. As an above-average student, I did not feel challenged.

Small town New Hampton is a great place to live. The community is awesome, and it is a great place to raise young children. A new middle school was just built and the students and staff love the building. Academics and extracurricular activities are very high in New Hampton. Many sports programs are very good, as well as band, choir, and other things.

I feel horrible that I didn't listen to my children when they were in Middle School and begging to switch schools. I believed they were just being kids. They learned life lessons they should have not learned until the were adults. They have a hard time trusting others.

New Hampton High School was a great place to get an education. The school is small enough to have class sizes around 20-25 students per classroom, but large enough to be competitive with sports. I believe I graduated with around 98 student in my class and my sister had around 120. They also have a g...
