Generally New London High School is generic this is not but a typical high school experience. The education is quite lacking and some times it feels like the teachers barely care about the student though you will find some who do care. The school lunch is abysmal and repetitive you truly can't gain much from. going here.

Although I am enjoying my high school experience overall, the lack of rigorous academic opportunity combined with underfunded extracurricular programs leads to many promising students being underprepared for college admissions or their future careers.

NLHS has a pretty open minded view on the world, due the variety of students who attend. There are people of many different races, ages, sexual preferences, etc., and they are all accepted. For the bad rep the town usually gets, the students in the school show a completely different and positive side of New London.

There are so many opportunities for my son to earn College credit. ECSU, Mitchell College, UCONN...to name a few, all offe...

Teachers there don't know how to teach and there "honors program" is not a challenge. Only come here if you like science and technology, th...
