I like Albert Leonard middle school because it lets children choose their own path. The school is a perfect size and the majority of teachers are experienced. They offer varieties of arts— from band to chorus. They offer a variety of languages as well— from French to Mandarin. Overall, I find that this school has room for improvement (like anything in this world) but it's really incredible and gets the job done.

Teachers were available at a minimum of two extra help sessions a week. The school was diverse and large, however the use of teacher "teams" makes it feel a lot smaller. There are a variety of art classes and honors courses for students to choose from.

My daughter is my third child to attend Albert Leonard and we are extremely happy with her education. Teachers are attentive, challenge the kids, approachable and prepare them well for High School. Excellent experience. My daughter is a good student and she was challenged and held to a Hugh standard. She excelled. She is now in the HS and continue to do very well. I am not sure where these metrics came from ALMS is a fantastic school one of the best in all Westchester County.

Overall very good. I am especially happy with quality and consistency of the teaching staff. Despite a large population, the environment is controlled and positive.

My experience at ALMS was quite interesting to say the least. I had very nice and supportive teachers who seem to want the best for all of their students. However, students misbehaving is a serious issue. They often curse, act like the rules don't apply to them, get into fights in the hallway, etc....
