GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The best thing about Harlem children zone was the teachers. But at the same time some of the teachers was rude and did not do much about the rudeness they was portraying. The worst thing about the school was the lunch the breakfast but also like before you had some teachers that was just straight up rude to the students

My experience at promise academy has been decent. Nothing too extraordinary, the school is pretty average. One main thing I like is that they are all for pushing students in going to college.

A fight between two adults almost happened due to the chaos from the lack of planning for students arrival on the first day of school. They thought it was a good idea to hand out class...

I see several negative reviews about PA II which prompted me to write my review. In my opinion, PA II is a very good school. I have twins who attend PA II - they are in the 5th grade and have been here since Kindergarten. Are there problems? Yes - but at most schools, there are problems. But on a sc...

when this school first opened it was the best thing to hit Harlem so I thought. My son has been attending this school since he was 4 years old and he is now 7. Upon arriving to P.A 2 there has been nothing but prejudices against students and parents whom advocate for there children. The lack of comm...

My child is a former student of this school and I am so glad with my choice of terminating ties with the school. The prinicipal is so out of touch with parents. She punishes the parents who show involvement in the development and growth of their children. The turnover rate with faculty is unbelievab...
