The stunning Notre Dame School of Manhattan is a private, Catholic secondary school for girls in New York City located within the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of New York. Sitting at 327 West 13th Street in New York City, it was founded by the Society of the Sisters of Saint Ursula of the Blessed Virgin in 1912.
Enrollment for 2021-2022 was 360 students in ninth through twelfth grades and the student-to-teacher ratio is 13-to-1 with an average class size of 28. Notre Dame offers many clubs and organizations for students to get involved in and they enjoy a well-rounded educational experience throughout their years at this esteemed institution.
Academic scholarships have been awarded to over 95 percent of graduates in the past ten years. The dedicated faculty works closely with students, as the modest size of the school enables teachers to provide one-on-one attention if needed. Overall, the school is great. The faculty care about the students a lot, and want them to succeed more than anything. They have helped me get internships and jobs from their letters of recommendations. They will set you up and prepare you for college. While all this is great, I wish there were more AP classes, as we don't have a lot to offer and we have to apply to get in. Because the college process is super competitive, I wish we had more AP's to offer.

I have been at Notre Dame since I was a freshman and my experience has been quite enjoyable here. Although almost two years was taken away because of Covid, I still love the ND community. The only thing I would like to see change is the school spirit towards the sports programs.

My daughter is a freshman and I can’t say enough good things about ND. From the academics to the athletics and the administration all is top notch. I am looking forward to my other daughter attending next year as well. We love Chez Nous!

My daughter absolutely loves Notre Dame. She transferred from public school midway through her sophomore year and couldn't be happier with that decision.
