I had three children in this school for several years. I moved as soon as I could afford to. One child was above his benchmarks when he started school. By the time we moved (3 years later) they wanted to hold him back. He has now been in a new school district for 3 years. This school district did not accept that he was to be held back and put him on into the next grade. He is now doing really well. Another child was bullied for a year and a half and all the school wanted to do was punish my son be removing him from the classroom and away from his friends. As a result of that bullying he started bullying other children including his younger brother. Now three years after we moved to the new school district this son is a A student involved in several extra curricular activities and has stopped bullying that he has witnessed.

Absolutely love our school. Both of our girls have learnt so much and the teachers are great. Everyone is very helpful with any questions and school has so much positivity all the way around!

My daughter only spent her first year of kindergarten at Mcguffey and then we had to move. I really wish I could have just packed up the staff and her bus driver and brought them with us. The staff at Mcguffey Elementary are all welcoming, helpful and caring people. I could ask a million and one que...

For the most part, this is a great school. My son had a wonderful experience during his time in this school. I also loved this school. It was a great, positive, caring place for everyone.
