I would like to see the teachers become more understanding of their students and their needs. The more popular kids get cut breaks all the time while students that actually do their work have to work twice as hard. Education shouldn't be a popularity contest, but it is at Newcastle High School.

This school has been my home for the past four years. I have gotten to know the teachers very well. They are great people who really care about each and every student.

There are certain groups of people, so those types of students are involved with each other. I do not think peer pressure is an issue at this school. I feel like it takes a while for a new student to be accepted. I do not think there are any huge challenges in regard to ethnic/racial diversity and/or sexual orientation.
