Growing up in Newport, Rhide Island everyone attends Thompson Middle School, firmly Thompson Junior High School. Situated in the City Center it was the academic hub of diversity. The ciculum was by far well diversified. Offering sports activities including football and basketball. Outstanding woodworking classes held here as well as pottery classes. Sheet metal was offered as well.

TMS is a warm, inviting school with teachers who will go the extra mile to help students. There is an extensive after school program that offers academic as well as enrichment opportunities for all students. Teachers at this school work very hard to help all students learn.
