GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Wicksburg High school is a great school. The teachers here really care about you and care about your future. This school is a community of people that are willing to help one another and better each other.

All the teachers and staff are very professional and helpful. The environment is good and it's very clean. The amount of electives is a little lacking and the response time on some things could be better.

Most of (not all of) the teachers are not willing to help you in any way or even be respectful unless you are a teacher or staff member's kid/niece/nephew, an honor roll student for at least 3 years in a row, a star football player or a cheerleader. The bathrooms are disgusting, there are always dead bugs in them and the paper towels haven't been changed in any of the bathrooms (except the newer HS building) in at least 3 years. Bullying is usually disregarded. The schools priorities are definitely out of wack.

Nepotism and Bullying. The teachers are a part of the problem.SpEd kids get put into detention so the school can spend the monies elsewhere and not have to accommodate them.

Wicksburg Elementary and High School Very personal and academically driven. The teachers care about the success of each student and the administration would go to any length to protect and guide their students as they would their own children. It is not an over-crowded school like those in Enterpris...

Wicksburg is a great school. Some will not like it because it is small and more personal. Others will love it for that. There are the typical folks who want to be the "big fish" in the little pond, but they are at every school. There are some teachers (not many) that you would not want your kids to...
