GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I would love to see teachers that will teach and not just pass a student when they should not. The school made it so hard for me to attend college because I was so behind in most of the studies.

I liked some of the teachers there, who seemed like they genuinely cared about the wellbeing of the students. However, it did not seem like any of the students cared about each other. It also did not feel like the classes really taught me much in order to get ready for college. I felt as if I was drowning my first year of college because it did not get me ready.

Newton Falls High School was an overall good experience. It was a small school where everyone knew each other, and made our bonds with students and teachers very close compared to bigger schools. Something I would change is to make the curriculum more advanced. Smarter students had no chance to prove their skills because Newton Falls had no AP classes. So many people who were smart did not have to put any effort into their schooling.
