My experience in Newton high school was very average. Being involved in the extracurricular is an important part of the experience here.

When I moved to Newton highschool my sophomore year because my parents got divorced I for sure wanted to hate this school, but as I got to know what Newton had to offer and the people and teachers there I realized that for my next two years of highschool this is where I belonged. The teachers and students make you feel welcomed and accepted not only that but there are so many clubs and sports that you could participate in. Newton is a beautiful highschool full of opportunity for new and old students I am so glad I was able to be apart of this amazing district.

My children have been thriving at Newton High School. The teachers truly care about their progress and go above and beyond for them. The music and theater departments, as well as the robotics and AG programs, are excellent, along with the core programs.

Overall the experience at this school was accommodating to me having a IEP, there was never a moment I felt safe to change in the bathrooms other than the nurse's. There...

Newton high school is by far one of the best in Sussex county. The young adults graduating from there are more than prepared for college and the real world. Newton had gotten a bad rep because of its location. People fail to realize it is a regional school with many different students attending, fro...
