I started at Beaver in sixth grade and am now in the winter of my senior year! I truly love my school and think the opportunities I have received have well prepared me for college and the real world! Beaver is a very new and constantly changing for the better! We do struggle with diversity and there has been pushback on conversations of race on an entire school level while students of color are forced to stand up for themselves!! We also have a new headmistress who started this year and has spoken about pushing Beaver towards a more inclusive, stronger school for all its students!!!

I graduated from beaver in 2019 and I think about it every day. It taught me how to think differently and engage with all kinds of people. It is not your average high school, students are seen as so much more than just numbers. It is evident that teachers genuinely care about students and are incredibly well-versed in their subject. Beaver offers incredible amounts of opportunities, and each and every student takes a unique path at Beaver, with tons of support along the way.

I will always appreciate Beaver for all it taught me academically. I was very well prepared when I attended college. I pretty much breezed through my freshman and sophomore years as a result and made the Dean's List as well. I still have a strong connection to Beaver since I am Class Agent. We look forward to seeing each other and catching up during our Reunion. Thank you to the many teachers that taught and prepared us for this journey called life.

Beaver is an excellent school, yet is is one that is quite flawed. In my opinion, they are not selective enough when it comes to admissions, so there are a plentiful amount of slackers. Staying in Honor's classes helps this, but those who are Honor's students in a humanities class (English, History,...

As I prepare to send my daughter off to college, I was thinking about the decision to send her to Beaver. It is one of the best parenting decisions I have ever made. While my oldest daughter went to our highly-rated public high school in town, and my initial thought was that my second daughter would...

The school is concerned in attracting parent's money and kids would just earn grades with little to no effort. No structured content... if you are son is in a class where their classmates are struggling, he will not get any quality education, since there are no clear content expectations for a cours...

Beaver is a place for kids who don't necessarily love school. If that's you, then this place will be great. However, I am not one of those kids. I love to learn and wish to be with people who are enthusiastic about learning. Beaver is definitely your typical rich kid school - it's all about the clot...
