My child has thrived at Brimmer and we could not be happier with their experience. Our child fell through the cracks at our local public school because they were above average. When they arrived at Brimmer they were challenged and grew into their best self.

Brimmer has been absolutely fantastic for my two lower-school children. Brimmer keeps them deeply engaged in learning all the time, while also providing a warm and supportive community. We couldn't be happier with the experience that Brimmer has been providing.

Brimmer was honestly life changing for me. Coming from a school where I would go through a metal detector every single day while getting my bag searched it was a needed switch-up. It was very hard to focus at my old school, kids would fight everyday, bring drugs to school, and even guns sometimes. At Brimmer I feel safe and I feel noticed. The teachers care for your learning and have prepared me for college greatly

The school is not equipped for sensitivity to children, teachers can be harsh although some are very talented. Administration is focused on quieting complaints and raising money. You are an outlier if person of color or without means. We had serious ethical difficulties around personal safety with a...

There is an effort to cultivate a community of different experiences and backgrounds with similar values, especially in the lower school. On the whole, kid...

The teaching style is very flexible and able to fit the diverse learning styles of students at Brimmer & May. There are a few te...
