Parents STAY AWAY! This school is horrible. They have a culture of bullying and the school DOES NOTHING to stop it. They don’t have control over the kids. Today was the last straw, removing my son ASAP! Principal Castro is the worst. If you can, transfer or homeschool.

My daughter has just finished her first year at Halsted Middle School. The teachres are fabulous as well as the Principal and Vice Principal. The teachers really care about their students and the students care about them. Its a great school!
