my three years at emerson were really horrible. i've struggled with social anxiety the whole time i've been there and teachers have not been understanding or accommodating. i'm not even gonna get started on some of the students, people think they can just go around saying racial slurs,etc. and get away with it and the school lets them! unbelievable. don't go here

The school itself is fine, it’s just the students that make my school year unbearable. Teachers are helpful and are able to make the students day better. The teachers I have are very supportive and don’t mind late work. They push me to do my best, while being understanding in the process. The school...

My niece and nephew have gone through this school and are BEYOND accelerated at Maine South. Emerson is just such a great well-rounded school that the entire state of IL should be jealous of.

being socially anxious, i had a horrible time at this school. definitely recommend trying to look somewhere else if you have a kid that struggles social anxiety.
