The school offers AP classes and things of that nature, but there is a shortage of staff and technology in order to really understand the content of the classes.

Some of the teachers I've had are really great and are always available and some of the teachers are just their because they need income. The teaching styles are okay; I don't really enjoy being at school but they do what they can. The teachers are definitely knowledgeable in their fields for the most part and their grading consistency is okay. Because the principal is so focused on SOLs a lot of the AP students are pushed to the side, so grading for AP students isn't that great.

If you don't play sports then you're basically uninvolved. The principal frequently calls for no stay backs even if we did have or want something to do.

We moved here from new York, my daughter loves the school. The principal and teachers have showed great interest in helping her. She has made honor roll also has joined the volleyball team. I don't have any concerns.

This school is rated as the worst high school in the state. The accreditation has been pulled too many times to count over the years due to their inability to control the students. Barbed wire around the perimeter says it all!! Just look below at the post from July 10, 2011. That should tell you a l...

I love the school, because it is part of my community, however it has a very poor level of accountability. It is set up so that those parents that wish to be involved are unable to contact administration or even get return phone calls. I think it would be a great school if top administration would s...
