GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Teachers help those who are already college-ready. They do not always help those who need a little extra help. They seem to focus on the students who are on both ends of the academic spectrum, but leave those out who are in the middle. The facilities look nice and athletes are treated well.

I enjoyed attending Colquitt County High School. It is a relatively new building with ample amount of space. I loved my teachers. They all made sure I stayed in track and formed a caring bond. Even when they felt I needed an extra push they would contact my parents to help me. They have incorporated dual enrollment to help students be further in their education when they graduate. I was able to participate and graduated with credits that will apply to college.
