GreatSchools Rating

GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

My school has treated me very well and I've had a great highschool experience. Despite my school small size, we have some great teachers who really care about academics. Our sports teams do well and are properly equipped and we even have a math team. Our administration, however, isn't so good.

Is the product of a rural community with few cultural and social resources. Would not recommend out of the community options.

It was okay academic wise. I learned as much as I wanted freshmen-senior year. The only complaint I have is that we never took time to "take a break." We had awful school spirit and were never given times to help that issue.

This school graduates a high majority our students whom can read or write at a 7-8 grade level. They push students that are non traditional learners into (special) classes that teach GED course.

The number of AP classes has increased along with honors classes. Rigor increased yet the percentage of students failing decreased. I am proud of my s...

The school lunch's need to be fixed, badly. They don't feed the kids enough food, and from personal experience they treat us like gold when the rating people came from the state and stuff. And they actually gave us enough food to fill us. And this is coming from a Skinny kid.
