GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I've been a student at North Forney High School for about 2 years now and my experiences at this school were in my opinion, from 2023 - 2024 was really bad, lots of fights, i couldn't wear any of my nice shoes cause there was a lot of dirt and mud (its not too bad now). And I was nearly jumped multiple times for no good reason. but one thing I've noticed going into this year (2024 - 25) is that they have focused so much on dress code to the point where they would straight up ignore kids gambling (playing dice) out side in big groups. But what's weird is that North Forney was known to have lots of fights and now its Forney that's having issues, like really recently at Forney High School on October 3rd 2024 they had a multiple fights that broke out at the same time and this resulted in a student getting stabbed in the eye with a pencil and a teacher getting put in the E.R. after trying to defend the student that was injured. Like they got to fix this cause its just getting ridiculous.

The only bad thing is the principle she's just full of herself and she can be disrespectful to the PASS students.

The best aspects of this school would be the stem programs and the fine arts allowing for an excellent learning experience than most high schools. The second would be the newly added facilities. The worst aspects would include a lack luster safety for all individuals who attend this school and student culture.

So far in this school year, North Forney High School has been an unacceptable place for any student to learn. Fights and bomb/shooter threats are regular occurrences. Bullying is rampant in this school. Many of the teachers are under qualified for their jobs, leaving many students confused and not b...

Imagine enrolling an A-honor student in a school where education seems to be an afterthought. The administration, unable to manage overcrowding, places low-performing students into Advanced Placement classes simply because there’s no space in regular classes. This creates a disruptive and hostile en...

I’m a freshman taking a Spanish 1 class. Everyday we learn something new, everyone is engaged and our teacher, Ms.Marcelino is very caring. She cares about our education and building a healthy student/teacher friendship. I always feel respected in this classroom. I also enjoy having Mr. Simolaridos...
