I was a transfer student to North Platte High from Idaho Falls, Idaho. As a senior it was hard to transition schools that late into my education. The counselors were great about helping me get into classes and build connections through the school. The administration has been good as well as the teachers. I wish that the students were more welcoming and friendly. North Platte is the type of town that thrives on community and friendships. If you move in and don't have that, it is hard to be in the loop and feel included.

I enjoy the culture that is currently surrounding our school. There are so many students that attend here that truly want to better themselves and their future, and I am included in it. Staff are generally helpful, and most are interested in bettering and taking interest in their students' lives. I would like to see more focus on the behavioral students in our school, because they also deserve a chance at a well-rounded education.

The school is pretty decent, facilities are fine. The sports are based on favoritism, and not ability. I wish that would change.
