This is a solid Christian, Bible based school. Biblical principals of life, conduct and Christ-centered love is taught. Academics is highly advanced and prepares student for higher education opportunities. The music and sports program are competitive with the larger pubic schools in the area. NCS consistently excels in soccer and basketball. 70% of the students attend college after graduation.

Some of the teachers at this school were awesome and encouraged growth. Other aspects of the school did little to further that growth.

Northumberland Christian School prepared me academically for taking numerous courses and simultaneously working through different subjects to get a round education. It was lacking in the STEM department, however. It did a good job of teaching one how to learn and not simply accept whatever the teacher says

If you check all the right boxes this is a great school. If you are different in any way, your student will feel it and you as parents will too.

This is not a Christian School--name only! They use the word "Christian" but don't partake it as part of their practice!

As a current high school student, I am so thankful for the chance to attend this school.
