I am new to Northwestern High School this year and so far the best part of my experience would be my teachers. They are resourceful and beneficial to my academic success and do what they can to help me and others. The worst part to me would be lack of diversity. In schools, I always like to see some diversity amongst race and gender. Additionally, I do not like the schedule. We are on an A day, B day schedule which sometimes seems a bit unorganized to me, so I would switch to a traditional schedule or fully semester based schedule.

Not the worst school, but definitely not the best. Adminitration was definitely the worst part of my experience here. Teachers were a 50/50. Some teachers were incredible, but some teach you nothing and have an attitude all the time. There are always fights and events happening that affect our studies as well.

What I enjoyed the most about the school were my teachers. Even though the school administration wasn't the best, my teachers made up for it. Each and every one of them made me enjoy going to their class and I could tell that they all cared about my success. They all played a huge factor in shaping the person I am today and I will alway be grateful for having them as my teachers.

The school is ran terribly. Theres fights everyday with students skipping and roaming the hallways everyday. There's students here who are talented but aren't able to demonstrate it in this school. I have a spanish teacher who just puts random grades without checking the actual assignment. Overall t...

I would recommend this school for the Visual and Performing Arts Program. The teachers care about the students and work very hard to create a professional arts experience for them. The top students from this program are attending and graduating from top school in the country with good scholarships....

The school is badly run, from the top down. The principal sets the tone with an authoritarian culture. Systemic problems are not addressed. The main virtue of the school is supposed to be its visual and performing arts program, but it is not adequately supported. Some of the teachers are great but t...
