I would like to see more involvement with alumni. And more interest in the music department. The music department was fantastic, band and chorus. The director of both put a lot of hard work into the school. He makes the school itself worth going to. A lot of the other teachers and staff are rude especially to alumni.

One of the main reasons why I am not sure if I would love to attend South again is because it's so small. You are limited to the number of people you network with.

Of the 4 traditional High Schools in Stanly County this is the best. With well rounded academic and athletics programs, opportunities abound for students.
