The school offers opportunities for students as well as a safe space to grow. However, they fail to properly explain and demonstrate how to reach out and complete tasks to get involved.

Although it has promise to being a good high school, it still remains to be as such. I believe with enough care and experience, the admin and faculty of this school can make it a great place for students to grow and learn at.

The people at Minarets High school are great there are so many nice people that go here. The Teachers are amazing and are super enthusiastic and are always willing to help or even just talk and can easily become your friends who want you to succeed. Our school is not the best academics wise but we are improving every year getting better and better academic scores school-wide. The culture of Minarets is very tight knit and fun while still being serious and educating. We use laptops for our work and I think that helps us be ready for college and later in life because we will have to type lots of essay and know how sites are reliable and how to focus on doing work on them and because we have been using them for 4 years I feel that I am comfortable with how to write essays and using a laptop and not getting to distracted and doing the work that needs to be done.

When going to this school your last name matters. Very cliquey administrative structure. Principal is good, teachers are new just about every year. We had had 4 superintendents in the past 5 years. They are never in compliance with a lot of stuff!

We commute 1 1/2 hrs round trip twice every school day to ensure our child can attend. In our mountain communities there is no other school that comes close in comparison to what Chawanakee/Minarets offers, and education being so important to us, it’s beyond worth it. From how much the teachers genu...

I like the small numbers of students. The Teachers are special, they get to know the kids and provide a good atmosphere.
