Oak Park High School overall is a great school but there is room for improvement. There are wonderful classes, teachers, students, and activities.

Ophs is filled with lots of favoritism and weird stuff. The teachers are okay , only some will really help you if you need it. Overall the rating is 2/10

Oak Park High School is a good school, with good education.I've been there since 9th grade & now I am in 10th. Teachers teach well to the point where I can understand what they say & get the work done. Sometimes I can get overwhelmed with the work but then later on I can catch myself up. The students are okay, a little rowdy but it's high school. It's easy to make friends there most times. People are very social also. Oak Park has tutoring programs for people who need to catch up & also athletic activities. The sports team are doing well & so are the tutoring programs. I, personally, have not took tutoring but I might try it out. Also, I tried out for softball but I didn't stay because I felt as if softball isn't my sport to play. Overall, Oak Park High School is a pretty good school to me.

OPHS is currently suffering from a rapid turnover of school leadership & staff. This has been a problem for almost a decade, but when literally EVERY administrator is new and then leaves the next year (or mid year… even when they signed a two year contract), that tells you something. I would rate my experience as a parent at this school a 7.5/10 just because of the environmental state it is in the effectiveness of helping others and cooperation is extraordinarily well.

The security is terrible alway suspending pupils I would never ever recommend this school to no one. However testing scores are low too many pupils out of school steady learning
