The best parts are the community that can be formed and the diversity. People are a lot more friendly and engaging. However, I would like to see stricter rules and guidelines enforced, especially in bathrooms where discipline lacks.

I have been a student at Oak Ridge for 4 years now, and all though I have gone through personal experiences the common denominator of it all has been my love for this school. I have created friendships and relationships with people through this school that have shaped me into the woman I am today. The best part of Oak Ridge has been meeting my coach and dancing for her for 4 years now, Mrs. Barber has been like a second mom to me and has mad highschool so much easier knowing I have a woman who loves what she does and is willing to be there to help through some of the toughest moment in my life.

This causes a problem when you are trying to make sure your child is tur...

Great community! All kids should join wrestling. Coach Morgan is the greatest coach out there. He is involved with all athletes, and overall is very good at coaching the sport. He deserves a raise.

Oak Ridge has a diverse racial and socioeconomic group of students and very little problems with bullying and drugs as compared to other high schools in CISD. Teachers definitely care.
