Over the past few years I have had both good and bad experiences. They are so set on following the rules and policies that they worry more about a dress code. Instead of "preparing their students for college" they are dress coding over the rips in peoples jeans. What kind of preparation is that if I don't know how to write a check, when it is best to apply for scholarships, when to and how to file taxes? The opportunities that come from taking classes early but don't allow their students to receive the study time they need.

I really liked the teachers and also the college counselor she helped me alot. She would help me with college and scholarship to help me pay for school. She would always reach out to them for me. She would help other to see what college was the best for each student and help them all apply for FAFSA and for scholarships also.

I love Oakley Junior/Senior Hiigh School because of the relationship you are able to build. Because of the small number of teachers, there are students are able to have one on one time with teachers to get help if they are struggling. Students are also able to have close relationships with all of their peers in schools, I feel this is so special because you when you go to school you have a bunch of friends that can help you and just be there for a good time. The teachers have a lot of love for all of the students and it definitely shows. All the teachers will be there cheering you on and making sure you do the very best that you can.
