The theatre department is really good, there are a lot of opportunities so is the rest of the music and arts department. I really have enjoyed that. Something I don't like is the money they choose to spend on useless things like huge banners for outside the school that no one asked for and are pretty ugly, and digital sign ins for the bathroom that no one uses. That money can be used to fix the run down bathrooms or provide some money for clubs/sports that need it.

Half of the students in this school are already drug addicts and alcoholics. How can these parents just watch their kids lives go down the tubes. Oceanside needs to do better.

Amazing something I look back to and realize how blessed I really was. Especially in college when you hear and can compare your experience with those that went to a different highschool. The one thing I will say is you get what you put in. If you don't put in anything here you wont get much out

My son is having a terrific freshman year at OHS. There is a new principal with a bog focus on discipline. The district-wide approach to anti-bullying is evident. The teachers are absolutely terrific and my son is doing very well.

This is hands down one of the best schools in the area! We picked oceanside over RVC and are so happy we did. Taxes are much less than RVC, schools are in better shape (RVC is using trailers to house some of the kids due to unsafe buildings) Now that the core curriculum is in place, these schools ar...
