This is our first year of OKE moving from other school district. My son started 3 rd grades. His transition went so smooth that he even forgot he's in new school. The front office welcome with a smile all the time so I feel happy. The greeting staffs know the students by name. The principal is very friendly and she works very hard every day. This is the only school in this area that is zone only with single family homes. Teachers are strict at academic but friendly otherwise.

They keep changing the rules. I have had kids in this school since 2013 and they keep changing when I am allowed to eat with my kid. I am no longer allowed to drop off items when my child forgets them. A 10 year old is going to forget their lunch and I need to drop it off. Yes, she can buy lunch but...
