GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

The teachers at O'Donnell High School always go above and beyond. They are up for new ideas and will do whatever it takes to get the students where we need to be in class. Since O'Donnell is a very little community the students are in every single sport and activity that goes on at the school. Students get busy and aren't in class as much as we would like to be because of these activities, but the teachers will go out of their way to help us get back on track and will also help us keep our grades up.

Most after-school opportunities are related to sporting events including football, cross-country, basketball, golf, tennis, track, baseball and cheerleading. Other opportunities include music, FFA and UIL Academics. The commitment level is high for all activities and the sports activities seem to be the most fun options for most. There is a great level of administrative and community support for all activities.

All things listed in the instructions are great. We have a new school counselor so she is learning. getting to college resources through her has been a trip but she is good. other than our new counselor, everything is great. If you are having trouble with an assignment then the teacher would not hesitate to say after school with you to help you.
