GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

This is a very small school, but that comes with more advantages than disadvantages. Students get more time with teachers and a more personal educational experience. This comes in very handy when it comes to the depth of learning in certain subject. However, since it is a small school, the expansiveness of choices of classes is limited.

I appreciate how the staff in this school wants nothing more than to see their students succeed. This school is very creative, and there is student artwork on display throughout the entire campus which is very cool.

I've had a great time at this high school. Teachers form bonds with students and the teacher to student ratio is low allowing for students to get help on problems. Excellent overall.

As a former student of Okanogan High, I can proudly say that I thoroughly enjoyed my experience there. The teachers always took the time to talk to me about whatever was on my mind. Cannot say enough great things about my OHS. Go Bulldogs. Perry Merriel
