GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

I liked Emerson south mid-high school because their are less kids and less drama at school the teachers are very polite , and they are very helpful and try to help you find out what you wanna do in your life , the things I would like to see changed in school are to be able to bring a backpack to school , to not take my shoes off like if I was at the airport to be able to wear my sweater without taking it off because they think I have drugs in it to go to the bathroom without being escorted by a teacher .

Emerson is a "turn-around" school for students who find teachers who care and an administrator who sees an individual student not a name on a paper. Thank goodness OKC district has a place for learning when it hasn't been easy at the home school.
