This school was simply a different and much better place under the previous principal. Since the new principal started a few years ago, ethnic celebrations ceased, communication went downhill and is often stern or negative, and the teaching staff are clearly lowering their standards due to the poor...

Fisher Elementary has a great principal, teachers, and staff. This is a high quality school and our kids are happy here. My kids are safe here and demonstrate educational progression every year. The events at school are welcoming and uplift the community.

There is extreme bullying allowed in this school. The principle does not communicate with parents. She told me that she does not have time to contact parents when their child is having issues with a bully. My son even went to a counselor for help. Nothing was done. 2nd grade teachers do not communicate with parents. Principal doesn’t seem to care about her job. Pe teacher is not well suited for a elementary school, he stays in the air conditioning office while the kids run in a gym with no air conditioning and get in punished if someone can’t finish the run.
