The school has been transitioned to state control, but the new leadership for the High School is staffed by authoritarians and generate a huge teacher turn over. The school is not now in better hands. The school is ill-prepared for upcoming school year. If I were you, avoid having your child attend this school. If you value their education.

My experience unfortunately was cut in half due to the pandemic but overall the school isn't too bad. I would like to see an expansion in the curriculum. Other than that it is a pretty good school.

I was fortunate enough to have good teachers and feel supported by the staff, but there is definitely room for improvement. Many of the non-AP courses were not challenging enough, and I feel that some of the pre-AP courses were not adequate in terms of college preparation.

This school has changed from what it use to be. My son was having health issues and they worked with us to make sure that even though he was going through a lot that they were willing to help any way they could and they did.

Administration is lacking students are constantly in fights with being reprimanded. Children wander the halls all hour and even after school is let out. Students are passed along to show inflated graduation rate but can hardly write a sentence.

I think there are amazing teachers at this school who have to deal with great kids and not so great kids and do a great job at it. Also think the concurrent classes are amazing. For a school so focused on testing their a-f report cards consistently show they need to change their teaching methods.
