Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Not the best by any means but not the worst. All kinds of people there. Not too heathy of an environment. If you look hard enough you can meet good people and have amazing experiences. Vandalism, drugs, fighting, are pretty evident and frequent. They seem to be trying to get better, they have been getting new staff that have helped improve a lot of things. Most kids have gone there since primary school, you'll most likely know everyone. Overall i would rate my experience a 5/10.

I enjoyed my time at OHS. The teachers, the activities, and even the students. The school is one that cares for the students and pursues to help anyone in need. One thing I would like to see change is the involvement in the community.

I have had three boys in Okmulgee High School. It is a great school. My middle child did attend another school in a nearby town for his senior year due to a move but we were so excited to be able to move our youngest back to Okmulgee High School. The faculty truly cares for the students.

Okmulgee is a good School System. We are deeply involved in the Education Foundation and the Public School. Okmulgee has concurrent enrollment and OSU IT is in the same city.
