The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.
The Test Score Rating reflects annual state test results for this school compared with scores statewide.

I love going to Onalaska High School The staff truly cares which is amazing. Since it is so small, we are all close and know each other very well. However, the people whos families have lived here their entire lives tend are the only ones who get certain privileges, such as scholarships from the school district.

I wish my high school would have more challenging classes when I first starting attending. They didn't offer college classes until my junior year. And even during my freshman and sophomore year I wish the classes challenged me more so I could have been more prepared for what college classes are going to be like. Besides the academics the community I love in is supportive and fairly care about each other.

The teachers at this school are mostly hard working and smart, but sometimes it feels like im being taught from someone who does not have a clue about what they are talking about. It feels as if im just getting told whats in the book and that is it.
i would not recommend this school to anybody. students are very cruel and if you ask for help from staff , you will simply get ignored. Very few teachers show care for their students.
