GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Oregon High School is a great High school. I went there for all four years and loved it. However, I felt like there wasn't enough classes for me to be able to challenge myself. The sports there are amazing there and so is their music clubs.

I have had great experiences here. Coming from a small school everyone is very close so sporting events and school events mean so much more to everyone that participates because everyone feels the losses and wins.

Even though we do have a bullying policy, our school does not do a good job of following it. The teachers and staff try to avoid the creation of problems so they do not report the bullying. Also, if bullying is reported, they say they will act on it but never do. Our school does do a fantastic job of security, having cameras around each building and in the school and keeping doors locked. I believe we do not have enough drug dog checks because I see people having drugs in their bags weekly and no action is taken from it.

I see a lot of bad reviews on here, but I don't see why. I just graduated from OHS just this past weekend, and I loved my experience here. The one thing that I did not like fully was the student body and the discipline that many did not receive for bullying. I stood up for a peer of mine being relen...

Excellent experience for my daughtered. School pushed her but also supported her growth. Upon graduation she will attend a ivy league school and turned down acceptance offers two other top twenty universities.
