I am a senior at Miramonte and I love it here. I went to multiple different schools in my life and I have to say Miramonte is the best by far. Our sports are great the students are very kind and the teachers do a great job. They are remodeling their pool which is needed because they host one of the best aquatic programs in the country with water polo and swimming. To add on, they are way better than Campo

the academics are pretty good but the pressure to perform well is really intense with most students taking ap classes, and you hear a lot of complaining/embarrassment over anything less than an a. both the latin teachers are really enthusiastic and kind and very very helpful!!! unfortunately student culture sucks; half the people are narcissists and only care about grades and there's a lot of homophobia, racism, and misogyny. people act all polite but really they treat you terribly if they think you're "weird" in any way and it's near impossible to be taken seriously when you're anything other than a rich white neurotypical cishet boy who plays sports and plans on majoring in business or stem. it's sort-of fine if you find a few good people (which are rare) but be prepared to hate 80% of your classmates. other than that it's alright.

My children attended Miramonte High School for six years, one daughter graduated in 2020 during the beginning of the pandemic, and my other children completed up to their senior year on line. Miramonte has one of the best curriculums and plans that allow the students to earn a diploma equivalent to...

Great school, great teachers, and a wonderful principal. Yes everyone has gone to school together since they were younger and may not be so welcoming, specially the girls. But that does not make the school a bad school. You will find that type of behavior at almost any high school.

The academics and almost all of the teachers are above fantastic. They make me want to go back to high school myself they are so amazing. The way my children have expanded intellectually at this school is astounding. The overall experience is, unfortunately, reduced by the absolutely atrocious way w...

I went here. Read my other review about OIS. I had the same problem here as well. I was hoping with two years of Orinda living under my belt that I can fit in. Nope. I was wrong. Some of the girls went to the same preschool, kindergarten, same elementary (wagner, glorietta, del rey), same soccer pra...
