I personally think that this is a rather good school. I attended this school from 2009 to 2014 while I attended first through fifth grade and was very happy while I was there. Although this is one of the lower rated schools in Kirby School District 140, that does not mean that it is a bad school. Fernway is a school that consistently turns out good kids who are ready for the middle school level of their education. I also think that the teachers at this school were outstanding while I was there. I fact, my first, fourth, and fifth grade teachers are still at the school.

My daughter’s teacher is amazing! Actually, all of her teachers are amazing! I love the art fair, hike bike day, the plays put on, everything is just fantastic!
