orono has a very welcoming, school atmosphere, you feel very at home as soon as you walk in the building to start your high school experience. there is something for everything there! sports, clubs, classes, you name it!

I transferred to Orono my senior year & I'm forever thankful that I did. The staff was beyond supportive in every single one of my endeavors, the students were so kind, & the range of classes was incredibly diverse, as well as fun. The community was accepting beyond belief & although I was a new student, I felt as if I had gone there my entire life.
