GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

School spirit is HUGE in Otis!! Both the school and the community support every sport and our bleachers are often full. We have outstanding coaches and our volleyball team has qualified for the state tournament every year for more than 10 years!! We have a brand new gym that is awesome! Our football field needs some work but there just is not any funding, The community has donated some time and equipment to improve it but there is still more to be done.

Again, because we are such a small school the teachers are able to get to know each student individually and nearly all of them will go out of their way to assist each and every student. Many of our teachers are younger, fresh out of college and have diverse teaching techniques that help engage the wide variety of students.

Every child is a part of our...
