GreatSchools Rating
The GreatSchools Rating helps parents compare schools within a state based on a variety of school quality indicators and provides a helpful picture of how effectively each school serves all of its students. Ratings are on a scale of 1 (below average) to 10 (above average) and can include test scores, college readiness, academic progress, advanced courses, equity, discipline and attendance data. We also advise parents to visit schools, consider other information on school performance and programs, and consider family needs as part of the school selection process.

Over the years, the administration has not cared about the students and more about themselves. My freshman year was not as bad as my junior and senior year. The teachers started to not care about their students overall mental health, which I believe is a key element in every day life that they just do not bring up.

My experience at Whiteford was good. One thing that I liked was that it was a small school. As a student, I knew who all of the teachers were, and all of the people in my grade. One thing I would like to see change is the gyms. We have two gyms in our school. As a cheerleader, we either had to cheer outside or in a classroom. I think it would work better if there was a better system of sharing the gym or getting other sports their own space to practice.

It is a small but charming school and I have enjoyed my four years of high school there. Their music programs are amazing I especially love their choir program. I enjoy the sports here. Their football team is good. I enjoyed being in their marching band.
