Ottumwa High School is an ok school. They prepare you, sort of, for college and provide lots of college courses for free. You can complete your AA through Hills for free or get your CNA for free. If you aren't on the college readiness path, though, you aren't seen as very important.

Ottumwa High School is an interesting place. The classes available are wide-ranging for all skill levels. There are a bunch of great opportunities to take college classes here too. However, the environment is not ideal. I know that every high school has a certain amount of drama but from what I have seen(and I have only been to two high schools), this school has more bullying and drama than most. There is especially a lot of homophobia and students draw swastikas everywhere as a joke.
