I have gone to the small school of Ouray my whole life. With 200 students, preschool through 12th grade, we are able to connect with our teachers very easily. We get the help we need since there are so few students. The downside of it being so small is we do not have as many opportunities big schools have. Ouray school does not offer many AP courses or many elective courses. I would have liked to explore more options for classes. But overall, I think my school has helped me be a great student under the circumstances of it being so small.

Ouray High School is a very nice place to go to school because of the teachers and the students. The teachers are very nice, as well as knowing how to work with kids and can help if it is needed.

The school cooked food is poor, but the salad bar and milk are good. I eat at home alot.

Wonderful school! Great teachers, tons of opportunities for kids to figure out their strengths, work on their weaknesses and explore different subjects. Never seen a high school offer outdoor education, radio broadcasting, journalism, film as literature, personal finance, antropology.....to high sch...
